Ways to reach us
We keep three contact channels open and respond to every genuine dive enquiry. Here is what to expect from each, and exactly what to include so we can give you a useful answer first time.
Our preferred channel for dive planning enquiries is [email protected]. Email lets us read your details carefully and put together a thorough shortlist rather than a quick verbal answer. We read every message and reply personally — not with an auto-response template. Turnaround is one working day, and usually faster in the morning hours Hurghada time.
Telephone
Call us on +20 65 3447 920 during office hours: Saturday to Thursday, 08:00 to 18:00 Hurghada local time (UTC+3). Friday is our closed day. If you call outside those hours, leave a voicemail with your name and a callback number — we return calls from the next working morning. For complex itinerary questions, email usually serves better than phone because we can attach notes and links.
Office visit
If you are already in Hurghada and want to sit down with us, our office is at 9 Sheraton Road, Ad Dahar, Hurghada 84511. Walk-ins are welcome during the same hours: Saturday to Thursday, 08:00–18:00. Ad Dahar is the oldest district of Hurghada and easy to reach from the main resort strip by taxi or tuk-tuk. There is no parking fee at the building.
What to include in your enquiry
The more we know upfront, the more targeted our reply. The three things that matter most are:
- Your travel dates — arrival and departure, and how many days you realistically want to spend diving or snorkelling. If you are flexible, say so; off-peak dates sometimes open up better centre availability.
- Your certification level — open water, advanced, rescue, divemaster, technical, or no certification at all (we cover intro dives and snorkelling too). If you are mid-course somewhere else, let us know the agency and what stage you are at.
- Your base or hotel — Hurghada is a long strip and the right centre depends heavily on where you are staying. A centre that is convenient from Sahl Hasheesh may be a 40-minute transfer from El Dahar. Knowing your base saves a round of back-and-forth.
Optional but helpful: group size (solo, couple, family, group), any special interests (wrecks, underwater photography, marine-life focus), and any medical considerations relevant to diving.
What we send back
Your reply will include: a shortlist of two to four dive centres matched to your level, base and dates; the specific reef sites that suit your experience; typical daily pricing for the style of diving you have described; any marine-park or equipment fees to budget for separately; and any practical logistics notes — like whether the site needs an early departure or a two-tank boat day. We will also flag anything that might change your plans, such as a seasonal swell pattern or a site that tends to be overcrowded on certain days.
We do not refer you to a single operator and pocket a fee. We compare the realistic options and give you the names, so you can book directly with the centre on your own terms. Read more about how the collective works and why we operate without commissions.

Email enquiries received outside hours are answered from the next working morning. We do not use a ticketing system — your message comes to a person.
Before you write
One working day is our standard. In practice, enquiries sent before 14:00 Hurghada time on a working day (Saturday to Thursday) usually receive a reply the same afternoon. We are closed on Fridays. Absolutely. A large share of our enquiries come from people who want to try diving for the first time. We will match you to a centre that runs proper "Discover Scuba" intro dives with a small group size, thorough briefing and patient guides. If you decide you want to go further and get certified, we cover that on the certification page — and we can recommend the best course providers around Hurghada and El Gouna.
Yes, and groups are one of the areas where an independent recommendation really earns its keep. Large groups need centres with enough boat capacity to avoid splitting your party, and the guide-to-diver ratio matters more when some members are less experienced. Tell us your group size and the range of certification levels within the group — mixed-experience groups need particular care in site and centre selection. No. We do not charge for the information we provide, and we do not receive referral fees or commissions from dive centres. Our guide is supported by the advisory plans on our pricing page, which you can choose if you want a more detailed written itinerary or group planning document. A basic recommendation — matching a centre and a reef to your level and dates — is free by email or phone.
